St Paul's Choir

St Paul's is pleased to have a traditional thriving four part choir comprised of 28 singers. The choir sings an anthem at the weekly morning service and also prepares major works for feast days. Recent major repertoire includes Haydn's Little Organ Mass, the Fauré, Rutter and Mozart settings of the Requiem Mass and Stainer's Crucifixion.

The choir has an active social calendar and has undertaken Cathedral trips and tours to Dublin and venues in England. We are very proud of our choristers who make an enormous contribution to the church and its life. They participate in the RSCM's Voice for life programme, regularly attending workshops and residential courses, and five youth choristers currently hold the RSCM Bronze Award for singing. The previous Head Chorister was a finalist in the BBC Radio 2 Chorister of the Year competition and the church's first Organ Scholar has recently been appointed to the Organ Scholarship at The Queen's College, Oxford.

Choir rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings in the church. The choir is always pleased to welcome new members; for more about joining the choir, email the Parish Office (parishoffice@stpaulschurchmillhill.co.uk) or contact the office on: 020 8906 3793.
